Call me naïve but there’s only one thing I think that I could be
It doesn’t make me sad or make me mad I guess I’m happy just to be me
Just find it hard to picture myself behind a desk
Knowing that I didn’t try and I default failed the test
I will never change, it’s been so long I have to stay the same
I will never change, it’s been so long I have to stay the same
Never understood all the sciences they went over my head
All we do is laugh, cus it’s laughable that we’ll be adults til we’re dead
I might grow up but I’ll never be a grown-up anyway
I’ll always have the head and heart of the Ash House, Coppice days
I will never change, it’s been so long I have to stay the same
I will never change, it’s been so long I have to stay the same
And if you’re not excited by the thought of being blinded by the sight you’re not invited to the ball
And if you’ve got some time to spend I think I’ve got some left to lend, I’ll look you up and give you a call
But I don’t want you crying on my shoulder cus it’s colder you’re never welcome there anymore
You made your choice and packed your bags with everything I ever had and left me here with
nothing at all
I will never change, it’s been so long I have to stay the same
I will never change, it’s been so long I have to stay the same
